The S-12 is a vintage-inspired guitar whose big tone belies its small size. A very adept fingerstyle instrument, it takes a light to medium strum quite well. The smaller body makes for a very responsive guitar without lacking power. It gives supremely balanced tone with rich character typical of all Tahoe guitars. The 12-fret design has a longer body and a bridge more in the center of the top. This tends to give warmer tone and a bit more low end than its 14-fret counterpart (the S-14). All of this in a package which snuggles up under the arm…a very sweet guitar, indeed.
