The S-14 is a guitar whose tone belies its small size. A very adept fingerstyle instrument, it takes a light to medium strum quite well. The smaller body makes for a very responsive guitar without lacking power. Configured with a traditional short scale, it gives supremely balanced tone with rich character typical of all Tahoe guitars. Configured with a long scale, the tonal and performance characteristics approach those of the OM. All of this in a package which snuggles up under the arm…a very sweet guitar, indeed.
